Our Third Generation Building System is unique in the world and enables us to create Architectural Designer Homes. In fact, we can create homes where the use of shipping containers is not obvious. And the attention to detail we offer is on par with the very highest level of design and build. In 2015 we had a number of projects custom made at a factory in China. Although this can work well for large scale projects that reproduce the exact same home over and over, our individually designed homes are much better to built in New Zealand as we've always done. The Escape Pod is a truly remarkably comfortable, easily transportable home which is easy to set up just about anywhere. The design and fit tout are along the lines of a fine yacht.  Features include a generous 1200 x 900 shower, a comfortable full sized bed / sofa and low energy LED lighting integrated into the hand finished cabinetry. Our second Rarotonga project landed on the island in late 2012. Footings were designed in N.Z. and built on the island prior to arrival to make for a fast, easy assembly. Designed and built to withstand hurricanes the container doors are left in place to be closed over the glass doors during a storm. Nestled along the foreshore of one of New Zealand's most attractive lakes is this modular holiday home made with seven 20' containers.  Although we offer many cladding options, the ply and batten exterior always gives a relaxed and informal feel for a quiet bach on the water. The first was built some years ago and finished in bamboo, cinnamon wood and hand woven grass. Originally a single bedroom home, the home is being extended with five modules to create a beautiful four bedroom home.  As usual, we create extensive 3D modelling and animations to perfect the design before building the home.
